In 2013 I began writing after retiring from a career in teaching. I was employed by Orange County Public Schools for twenty years and taught ESOL, second grade, and third grade.
As a member of WordWeavers International, I honed my writing skills through critique group discussions. By attending the Florida Christian Writers Conference I made valuable contacts who furthered my progress as a writer. I am represented by Michelle S. Lazurek of WordWise Media.
When my husband and I adopted a beagle in 2011, we didn’t know how our lives would change. Buddy became my muse. His adorable personality drove me to create three children’s chapter books, which are listed on my homepage.
I love the outdoors. Here I am on a camping trip at Highlands Hammock State Park in Florida with Herb, and Buddy.
